just a quick question like say i used time stream calender in APO SNP and my Purchase Req pick the time stream calender while system create a PR and it is cif to ECC
but when i convert PR to PO does my PO will take factory calender in ECC or still follow the date and time of PR that created in APO with reference to time stream calender

Just another simple question.
I happen to have an extension that it's not String, but text.
Do you know what's the name of the object I have to create in order to assign the value?
The error it throws is the following:
class java.lang.String:null incompatible with interface com.sap.odp.common.db.PersistentTextIfc:sap.com/E-Sourcing-Server@com.sap.engine.boot.loader.ResourceMultiParentClassLoader@77658153@alive
So, I Assume I need a PersistentText object to assign it, but it's not found on the namespace. Also, I cannot instantiate a PersistentTextIfc, because it is an interface.
I tried searching in the api with no success.

Hi Matthew,
Make sure the subreports are in separate sections.
Then, right-click each Subreport > Format Subreport > Common tab < Uncheck 'Keep Object Together'.

I'm having the exact same issue.
1. Register the app.
2. Uninstall the app.
3. Re-install the app.
4. Now the app's registrationStatus on the client says unregistered, while I still see the application connection in the SCC.
5. Now calling unregisterApplication is ineffective.
I tried the solutions suggested here by Daniel, that didn't work too.
Any inputs on this would help.

I am getrting this error in PI
ERROR -- MP: exception caught with cause com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: com.sap.aii.adapter.rfc.afcommunication.RfcAFWException: RfcAdapter: receiver channel has static errors: can not instantiate RfcPool caused by: com.sap.aii.adapter.rfc.RfcAdapterException: error initializing RfcClientPool:com.sap.aii.adapter.rfc.core.repository.RfcRepositoryException: can not connect to destination system due to: com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (103) RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)
I checked the logon details of the user DDIC and seems to conect maybe it is some role issue with the RFC user?

"Keep Together" applies at a number of levels and I suspect that's what's causing your issue. Try this:
1. Right-click on each subreport, format, and turn off "Keep Together".
2. Also turn off "Keep Together" on all sections within each subreport.
3. Put the subreports in separate sections.
4. In the Section Expert, turn off "Keep Together" for each of these sections.

A BADI existente nos releases mais baixos é suportada e atualizada também nos releases mais altos.
Então, por exemplo, ao fazer upgrade do 600 para 606 você pode levar sua implementação da BADI antiga sem problemas.
Uma migração seria recomendada por motivo dos benefícios da persistência, mas isso não é um passo mandatório.

I am sorry to hear that you are dissappointed with this decision. I understand your concern about partners and SMB customers and for these customers SAP DataServices and SAP Business Intelligence will certainly remain quite attractive and fully supported tools. Further, these tools continue to work very well against relational database sources. Customers who choose not to invest in HANA and/or BW will certainly be able to continue to use SAP Data Services and SAP Business Intelligence. Clearly, the greatest gap will be in the area of ETL maps between SAP ECC and the Rapid Mart data mart.
There are alternatives. There are SAP partners who are currently investing in building their own data mart / DW based solutions using SAP Data Services and SAP Business Intelligence using the latest releases of these tools (4.2 and 4.1 respectively as of this writing). This should address the needs of customers (especially the SMB customers) who will be interested in pursuing a new "rapid mart style" solution in the future where the data source is SAP ECC (or for that matter PeopleSoft, Oracle or JD EDwards). In addition, for customers who currently own and SAP Rapid Mart solutions and wish to continue with support, there are SAP partners who are willing to provide this as well. So I am not entirely sure that I completely understand your concern that customers will be left "high and dry".
The decision to discontinue a product is not one taken lightly at SAP. SAP is committed to
providing its customers with world-class solutions that help address data and information management challenges. In order to make these types of ongoing investments, at times we need to end of life certain technologies as well We have gone to great lengths to see to it that this action can be taken with the least disruption to everyone involved.

I am sorry for a simple question, but SAP docs are so confusing. Most of the stuff is for Windows...
I am looking for a step-by-step guide (similar to Installing SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP 7.03 SP04 Trial in Amazon Public Cloud together with SAP PO 7.31 SP 11) how to install ABAP_7_03_SP04_64_bit_Trial on a linux box? I have just downloaded it from sapstore. My goal is to use a virtual machine (on a public cloud) with centos or ubuntu to develop with Eclipse ABAP IDE.

Re: Archiving MM_MATNR - dependent objects
The network graphics is a help that reminds you that you have to archive other objects prior to the material master.
If you are certain that your materials have never been in use, then you can ignore all objects listed in the network graphic and can directly start an archiving run for MM_MATNR
But if your materials were in use, then you will just get a big log of error messages and nothing will be archived, you cannot bypass archiving of other objects if the material was used in those processes. Bypassing would create inconsistencies.
